Sam has predominantly worked as a theatre musical director, conductor and pianist professionally in the UK for over 10 years. Experience includes UK Tours, West End, No.1 Pantomimes, major UK festivals & open air concerts, theatre training institutions, cabaret, and fringe/off-West End.
As an educator, he is currently on the singing faculty at SLP College (Leeds), and CAPA College (Wakefield), and a former faculty member of Italia Conti. Other previously associated drama colleges and training institutions include: Institute of the Arts Barcelona (IAB), International College of Musical Theatre (ICMT), Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA), The MTA, Royal Central School of Speech & Drama (RCSSD), The Arden Manchester, Performers College, READ College, Stagebox, Sharpe Academy, National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT) and Anglia Ruskin University.
Personal career highlights include touring with Everybody's Talking About Jamie as MD, London & West End concerts with charity concert platform West End Live Lounge as MD & arranger, and UK session work outside of theatre including keyboards for Jada Star (Nashville-based country artist and niece of Dolly Parton) at Glastonbury Festival and Cropedy, and Clem Burke (late drummer for Blondie) touring the UK including O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire and other O2 Academies.
